Video production
One shoot, one finished piece
Sometimes you do not need someone running your social media. You need one video, made properly, for one specific job.
Book a call →A monthly retainer may not be the right answer every time. Sometimes the job is one specific thing: train new staff, launch a product, run an ad, or show a room to people who have never walked into it.
For that you do not need a programme. You need one piece of video made properly, delivered, and then us out of your way.
So we scope it around what the piece has to achieve, shoot it, and hand it over. Nothing ongoing attached to it. If it turns out you want the ongoing version afterwards, that is a separate conversation and a good one to have after we have already worked together once.
What we get called for
- Ads for paid social or display
- Brand films about who a company is rather than what it is selling this month
- Training and onboarding video, where the job is clarity rather than polish, and where getting it right once saves repeating yourself for years
- Recruitment content for businesses competing for trades and skilled staff
- Event coverage, cut as a film with a beginning and an end rather than a chronological dump
- Product, menu and property films
What we bring
Crew, gear, and the planning that happens before any of it turns up. If the shoot needs a cast, extras or models, we bring them too. That is the part most people do not expect: you provide the space and we handle everything that goes in it.
Pricing is per project, scoped on shoot hours, edit hours, and how much production the piece actually needs. A half day with one camera and a two-location brand film are not the same job. Tell us what the piece is for and we will scope it.
Questions we get asked
How much does a one-off video cost?
It is quoted per project, because a single interview setup and a multi-location brand film are not comparable. Tell us what the piece is for, roughly where and when it shoots, and where it will run. That is enough to price it properly.
How long does it take?
We do not quote a delivery date before the footage exists, because that number would be a guess. What we will tell you is where it stands and when anything moves. Most single-deliverable projects are one shoot day plus edit.
Do you write the script or do I?
Either. Most clients come with a goal rather than a script, and we build it from there. If you have one already, we shoot to it.
Do I get the raw footage?
You get the finished deliverables in the formats we agree. Raw footage stays with us as the archive unless the project specifically scopes handing over the masters, which we are happy to do if you ask up front.
Can you supply actors or extras?
Yes. We bring cast, models and extras when a shoot needs them. It is one of the reasons people use us for skits and promotional work rather than hiring a camera operator.
How many revisions do I get?
You review a first cut and give notes before we grade or finish. Structural notes are far cheaper at that stage than after the polish, which is why we build the review in there.
Can a one-off turn into ongoing work?
Often, and that is usually the sensible order. One project tells you more about working together than any proposal would.
