Trades and contractors
Marketing for trades that does not waste your day
Most of your work comes from referrals. That is a strength until the phone goes quiet, and then there is nothing to fall back on.
Book a call →The problem. Referrals are the best lead you get and the least reliable. When a quiet month arrives you have no way to make one happen, so you end up paying a lead-generation platform for the privilege of bidding against four other people on a job nobody wants.
What we look at first. Two things, because they are different jobs. Winning work means showing homeowners a standard of finish they can recognise. Recruiting crew means showing an apprentice what it is actually like on your site. Most trades content tries to do both at once and does neither.
How we solve it. We film on the job, around the job. No staged tool shots and nobody standing in clean hi-vis. Finished-work reveals for the homeowner side, the crew and the shift for the recruitment side, and progress series on longer builds because people follow a build the way they follow a story. Then we make sure you turn up when somebody searches for your trade in your town, because that is the other half of never having a quiet month.
Why us. We come to site and work around you. Nobody stops, nothing is set up for the camera, and you are not on the hook for anything except letting us in. Book a call and we will look at your next job as the first shoot.

Questions we get asked
What kind of content actually wins work for a contractor?
Finished-job reveals do the heaviest lifting, because a photo cannot show standard of finish the way a walkthrough can. Recruitment content is the underrated one. Most trades businesses lose more money to being short-handed than to being under-marketed.
Do you film on active job sites?
Yes, and we work to your site rules. Hard hats, exclusion zones, staying out of the way of a crew on a deadline. Nobody has to stop working for us.
How much does social media cost for a trades business?
It is scoped on how often we film and how many pieces you need each month. Most trades accounts run one shoot day a month across one or two active sites. You get a written number after a short call.
Will this actually bring in jobs, or just likes?
Both, on different timelines. Content builds recognition, so when somebody finally needs your trade they already know your name. Search work is what catches them at the moment they are looking. Run both and the second one converts faster because of the first.
I am already busy. Why would I bother?
Because busy is not permanent, and the time to build the thing that fills a quiet month is a month when you are not quiet. It also lets you be choosier about which jobs you take.
Do I need to be on camera?
No, though the owner on camera consistently outperforms content without them. Plenty of our trades clients put a foreman or a crew member forward instead.
What if my work is not visually interesting?
Almost every trade thinks this and almost none are right. Clean work is interesting to somebody about to pay for it, and process is interesting to everybody. We have never run out of material on a site.
